Today we started off early after our lovely stay in Joe and Martina's house. My god the weather was far from ideal! Getting changed in the rain was fun...and spending 6 hours after that in the pouring rain wearing damp thermals wasn't great either. It was slow moving across Cill Ala Bay with a choppy swell. We had lunch under the tarp on the side of the bay and soon set off for Doonmadden Bay in Sligo. As we came around the first headland we spotted a school of dolphins playing in the surf. They didn't let us get in their way and passed under and around our boats, popping up every few seconds. It was amazing. We moved on in good spirits after that, the weather improved dramatically and we had a lovely calm sea for the last few hours of the day.
