Coming up on Mordor - the Stags
25 days of kayaking and on our first day paddling east we get our first easterly winds! However it still turned out to be an epic day of paddling and takes a place in one of my top 5 places to sea paddle in Ireland. The continuous flow of cliffs, caves, sea stacks, islands and isolated gravel beaches make it a spectacular spot. Leaving Broadhaven Bay and heading east the cliffs continue with few breaks all the way to Ballycastle, making it an exposed paddle probably best ventured in during good weather.
